Abstract

Artikel ini menelaah Kolose 1:15-20 sebagai teks kristologis yang memiliki signifikansi fundamental bagi pembinaan iman jemaat. Kajian sebelumnya cenderung menekankan aspek linguistik, kristologi kosmik, atau konteks sosial tertentu, namun belum menghubungkannya secara konsisten dengan orientasi pastoral. Penelitian ini menawarkan kebaruan dengan menafsirkan himne Kristus dalam kerangka teologi pastoral, sehingga supremasi Kristus tidak hanya dipahami sebagai konstruksi doktrinal, tetapi juga sebagai fondasi formasi identitas dan kesetiaan gereja. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menelaah teks Kolose 1:15-20 secara eksegetis-kritis berdasarkan edisi Yunani NA28 dan mengaitkannya dengan pembinaan iman jemaat di tengah pluralitas kontemporer. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah teologi pastoral berbasis eksegesis biblika yang menekankan aspek linguistik, literer, dan teologis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa struktur chiastik himne menyatukan karya penciptaan dan rekonsiliasi, serta menegaskan Kristus sebagai pusat kosmos dan kepala gereja. Kesimpulannya, penelitian ini memperluas pemahaman kristologi kosmik menuju orientasi pastoral yang konstruktif, serta menyediakan kerangka transformatif bagi gereja dalam menghadapi tantangan ideologis, budaya, dan spiritual pada masa kini.
